Sooo sorry for the disappearing act. It has really been an insanely busy last few weeks/month. Since my last post I have added some lovely sterling silver metal stamped necklaces to the shopping pages. They make wonderful Christmas gifts and can be customized with the words of your choice. They’re fabulous!
This week has been insanely busy while I’m working on things for the upcoming Show Me Etsy show at Sqwires on October 16th. Pendants, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, and rings galore Here are a few of the new fused glass pendants posted on the Mandala Design Studio shopping pages this week. I love them! They are affordable, so much fun, and totally unique!

I just finished this awesome Ice Bling ring! I am so pleased with the way it turned out! I used over 70 Swarovski crystals and assorted sterling silver beads and headpins!

I’ve had plans to create a special line of jewelry specifically for blended families for quite some time. I was finally able to get to work and bring my ideas to life and I am so excited! Being a part of a blended family myself means this line is close to my heart. I have been remarried for four years and I have two wonderful stepsons. Because the word “step” seems so negative, I have always referred to them as my bonus sons. Falling in love with their father was a blessing and they were an added “bonus” that I couldn’t imagine life without. I also have a biological son and we celebrate Bonus Father’s Day in our house as a way to show our love and gratitude to my husband, his bonus father. I also have a bonus father of my own and I know it can be difficult finding the perfect gift on Father’s Day, Christmas, birthdays, etc. This line of jewelry was created with all the blended, bonus, stepfamilies of the world in mind and my love goes into each pice made by hand I wish I would have had something just like this to give as gifts on my wedding day or to use in my second marriage ceremony with the kids.
